We believe that the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ is governed by a plurality of Leaders as there is only ONE HEAD, who is Jesus The Christ. Those of us who have accepted the call of service in the work of the ministry and who have been made and fashioned into gifts for the perfecting of the church are only Co-Laborers with Christ in continuing His work in the earth.

The governmental structure of The Church is a Hierarchy, however the leadership does not sit at the top of the triangle but the bottom. All ministry gifts are gifts of support and lifting up. As servant-leaders, we are not to be supported by the people but have been empowered by grace to support the people. It is through our love, prayers, teaching, pastoring and training them that help lift them to the heights of heaven and mature them in The Faith. It is the primary function of an Apostolic leader to maintain the teachings and the tradition of Jesus Christ, the Apostles and the Apostolic Fathers.

This community honors the historic episcopal form of church government where the bishops are those who have been given charge of the church. The church of Christ also has the need for support ministries that are revealed in scripture to assist and expand the work of God in the earth.

Unity Through Consensus...

It is the aim and purpose of our Holy Episcopal Synod to facilitate a world-wide family of Servant-Leaders from the four corners of the earth.

The Holy Synod consists of all other Diocesan, Suffragan & Titular Bishops that are located within each state/territory as appointed and consecrated within the communion & The Church Of America. The bishops of each state/territory will make up the regional House of Bishops
